When the cloak’s hood is pulled up over the wearer’s head, it takes on a semblance of its arctic namesake’s fearsome visage. Witch’s Familiar: “Albe”

A Witch’s Familiar stores knowledge of the witch’s spells rather like how a Wizard records his spells within a spellbook. As such, this section is devoted to describing Lucas’ ermine familiar, his spells known, abilities and other information.

For discussion of the Witch’s Familiar class feature, see the SRD entry.. As an overview, Familiars have half their master’s max HP, they use the master’s BAB (with their own Ability Scores). For Saves, they use their own Ability Scores, but they have Base Saves of +2 Fort, +2 Ref and +0 Will, but they use their master’s Base Saves for each of these if the master’s Base Saves are better. They also have the Master’s Skill Ranks, but they still use their own Ability Scores and feats (if any). Familiars treat certain skills (the physical ones and Perception) as Class Skills. Consult the table presented in the article for natural armor adjustments and Intelligence scores along with class-granted features.
